A piece of good document consists of two important elements, which is the combination of DESIGN and WRITING.
A piece of document with good writing should be explicit and include information that is relevant to the discussed topic; it is agreed by Rothman (2005). Nevertheless, the writer of ought to generalize the argument and explain his ideas to the readers concisely. (Putnis & Petelin, 1996). Furthermore, Nielson, 1997, also claims that the standpoints that were provided by the writer himself must be explained in brief and supported by relevant examples to form a clear image in the reader’s mind.
Whereas, a document with good design concept consist of consistency in key ideas, structuring and seizing the attention of the audience by providing relevant images or graphs and diagrams. (Darlington, 2009). Besides that, Reep (2006) points out that a document with good design ought to isolates the main ideas from the supportive ideas as the audience tend to be inattentive when reading the content. Additionally, there is always genre expectations from a good document; Putnis and Petelin (1996) suggested that a document with good design design should always imply a decipherable pattern of flowing information.
INDIVIDUAL vs. GROUP
WRITINGS:
My Assignment 1 presentation appears to be a document with better writing compared to the previous group presentation. For instance, I stated more significant information in the slides, along with quotations from others authors. Besides that, my perceptions towards the discussed issue were made clear in the slides and were supported by strong examples. My presentation slides are more readable as the main ideas were all complied into one paragraph or bullet list, no irrelevant information were added to confuse the readers.

Individual Presentation Slides
DESIGN:
In my presentation slides, the contents are more specified, and there were more captivated images included. The whole outline of the slides appears to be more informative and attractive. Despite of that, the key ideas of my slides were isolated from the supportive ideas with bolded subheadings and different font size - the font size for the main ideas are slightly bigger. Furthermore, relevant examples were provided for the audiences to see the relationship between the writings and the images/illustration. The readers can quickly access into the key point of the presentation.

Individual Presentation Slides
Therefore, I think there was an improvement in my individual presentation slides when compared to the previous one.
